December 1941: 31 Days That Changed America And Save The World

“December 1941: 31 Days That Changed America and Saved the World” by Craig Shirley is an interesting read for anyone who has more than a passing interest in World War II. If you are a history buff, or just enjoy digging deeper into past events, this book will be of interest. Even before reading this book, the average person would surely agree that, perhaps with the exception of 9/11, December 1941 is the most pivotal point in United States history and, due to it’s global impact, one of the most important parts of modern world history. Craig Shirley seems to have done his research into this very formative era in America and makes connections to how this played out around the world. Rather than go into detail of the book, I would allow the reader to discover this book for himself or herself. That being said, know that this book will most likely not thrill anyone who is bored with history or does not take an interest in World War II era events. Overall, I would say this is a recommended read for anyone looking for a good historical book. Note: I received this book free of charge via the BookSneeze program through Thomas Nelson Publishers.
